Aston Martin Van? They could do a deal with Ford, rebadge the Transit, stick some leather in it and charge £90k! biggrin

Shame, I quite liked the Virage - the styling was a nice compromise, and it sounded like the right compromise between the harsher DBS and the softer DB9 for a general-use car.

About time for something very new though, even if it's just built on the same platform underneath!

Pointless car from the off. Looked nice enough though so hopefully the DB9 replacement will take some of the cool styling from it.

Aston Martin value (cut price DB9?)
Aston Martin vamoose
Aston Martin vandal (for those on benefits with Aston's on the drive)
Aston Martin vanilla (because it's boring and looks like all the others)


Ones that could almost work - Valour, Valhalla, Vanguard, Venture, Virtue, Victory

Yes, many manufacturers have a 'family' look to their model ranges but Aston take it too far. Especially given that their cars have shared front and rear lights and largely identical interiors.
Those interiors are starting to look dated compared the competition and not just the supercar competition either! The Steering wheel looks like they have taken it from an early Ford Fiesta frown

I'm a big fan of the V8 Vantage, but the others don't do much for me. I'd have a V8 Vantage in my lottery garage, but it would have to be green with a beige interior and a big supercharger bolted to the engine smile

Am I the only one thinking this could be a good potential investment? In 20 years time these are bound to be rare? Especially compared to DB9's & DBS' of similar age.

Are you sure that it's the number of sales of the Virage being low that's the issue? Couldn't it be that they're too high, and taking sales from the DB9/DBS, which earn Aston Martin more money?

Do you mean Vantage in your post above, or Virage? If you're being ironic, it points to Aston's central problem.

I'd have thought they would drop the DB9! It just doesn't make much sense.
