Vanguard would be good, but not sure it really rolls off the tongue well enough...

I would dearly love to see Aston recreate a more modern version of this-

a/. Because they look and sound fantastic, and b/. to get a different look into the line up
They're lovely old brutes!
I think they're ugly, to be honest. I much prefer the older V8.
I agree they are ugly, but in a good way lol

What a shower of st, waste of time. Although saying that, i really liked the look of it. The term "pissing money up the wall" comes well into context here.

Oh and how about viagra

Take your pick:

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villian by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengence; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
Nah, I don't like them... Have you anymore?

"Very likely to look like every other Aston since the DB9"?

It'd look a bit big across the boot lid, but at least it'd be correct.

Aston Martin Vague (describes the future model lineup to DB or not to DB that is the question?)

Aston Martin Ventriloquist - Will mark the start of the brand following BMW, McLaren etc with false engine noises being pumped through the speakers.

Victor is a GM name
Vanguard will be owned by someone because it was part of BL.
I thought there was some reason why Valiant, Vulcan and Victor couldn't be used - owned by BAe perhaps ? (Although it's hard to mix a Humber Hawk and a BAe Hawk trainer.....
Actually harder to name than you may think - hence the apparent daftness of recycling Virage and DBS was born of necessity.
Sad to see the DB go although DB10 would probably make Americans think it was a 1 litre.
Whenever Aston is mentioned, most recognise DB as 'the model to have' usually meaning the DB5 Bond car
Dibiten is actually a trade name for flat roofing membrane !

Was going to say Vulcan or Victor, two great British engineering feats. Saw a vulcan fly past the other day low level prepping for an airshow. Sounded epic. Aston Martin Venturi

Very glad the new DB9 is taking its styling cues from the Virage as it is the prettiest car Aston makes IMO.

Varicose - as in the veins of the elderly owners. Why should they have all the fun?

I'd like Aston to go back to 1986 as bring out another Zagato V8, a car that looks nothing like the current line up (for a change)

Whats with that new M5? Piped in engine noise? Makes you worry about these new electric cars with synthetic exhaust noise to warn pedestrians. Download your new V8 car ringtone!
