+1 it's perfect.

The car in the feature IMO is horrific

I really wish BMW would hurry up and officially unveil the 2-series.

Every time I read an article on here or in Evo about a tuned 1M I can't help but think, "Well that's another one ruined then."

I guess that makes it 447 un-sullied 1M's left then...

Yes to the colour, however I'd love to see it on the standard CSL style rims.

That colour does look fabulous
Does seem to have a lot of ground clearence at the rear
I agree.

I think it looks a bit chunky, especially at the back.
Think the 1M needs styled so it looks a bit sleeker, not just whack 20s on it and make everything wider.

Trying too hard with those oversized wheels. As mentioned earlier, a bit "Max Power-ish" for me too. I'd also guess that would certainly be a horrible ride (Possibly).

Given the choice, I'd take this one every time: http://pistonheads.com/sales/4096186.htm

I think the 1 coupe has some nice proportions, the 1M may have over stepped the mark on the muscle front, however if only rear legroom was slightly more reasonable then I still think it would be a better proposition than the current M3.

Avus Blue would have been nicer IMO. I've always thought most of the darker E36 metallic shades like Boston Green, Avus Blue etc would really suit the 1M.

Because they don't make it any longer.

Probably because it was based on the previous generation 1-series which isn't made anymore.

The colour on the car pictures is quite nice, but otherwise they seem to have taken what was already a decidedly ugly car and made it worse, IMO.

Nice colour, looked great as standard though, this is OTT, those wheels are awful. Look like one of those videos of Arab's supercars, really no need. The CSL style wheels in my humble opinion are gorgeous.
