Yeah it is a bit overwheeled, but the thing that gets me is they look a bit too AMG - as mentioned, the Y-spoke style suits it better.

Max Power doesnt exist anymore. Shows you have an intrest in it or you wouldnt be saying it was max power.

Good colour, and I like the wheels, but it's too low for me. There's either no suspension travel at all, or there's some major clearance issues at the front. At its current ride height it's too MAX POWER for me. Raise it an inch and we'll talk.

Awful wheels and the front bumper design of a bumper-within-a-bumper looks very awkward and unattractive.

The one below?

Looks very similar to the standard one to me

But then a lot of people don't like the standard car. Other than a non-standard colour and the wheels I can't see much visual difference in this one

That's because that is all they have done - I don't really get a car like this unless the package comes in at cheaper than getting a remap, suspension and exhaust done yourself. I kind of think it's only out there to promote the Schmidt wheels, which hasn't gone down well on this thread.

Yes, I presumed it was just a funfair duck so people could say the wheels weren't to their taste

Yes to the colour, however I'd love to see it on the standard CSL style rims.

That looks Horrendous, if you pulled up to a girl in that she'd laugh at you!
Come on mate, any girl will be laughing at you anyway. Couldn't do you any harm.

I'd like to see one on ACS type 1s.
Not ACSs new wheels, they all look st but type 1s are fantastic.

I'd probably just stick with standard looks - wheels are pretty big anyway

M135is are going to be around soon as well - cheaper modding base if you can get on with the 3-door looks

I'm not sure if type 1s come in anything larger than 18 or 19 inches, they're an old style. You can't beat them on any BMW, and they're fantastically made too. Oh I'm talking of the three piece wheels too. No point in buying the plain Jane single piece.

Nice colour, but we shouldn't be encouraging people to ruin their 1M's.

Any idea of the comparative weights?

Nope! They are forged by OZ though, so the qualities there. Expect to pay £1500 for a second hand set of wheels but they won't lose their value.

Have a feeling that colour(that superb blue) and its popularity won't be lost on BMW, expect a special edition very soon in that colour.
