X5 is currently on an original RHD Daytona Spider.
Saw this at the Revival over the weekend...pja said:
F1 was on a Veyron at Carfest north, the commentator said the plate was valued at £1m
Having said that he also reckoned Nick Masons Ferrari 250 MM was valued at £5.7m on Saturday & that jumped up to £6m on the Sunday!
I'm not sure if there's a way you can check but I read on another forum that the plate has NEVER been assigned to a car since being sold by Essex CC. Its been seen on various cars, but has never actually been assigned. Is there a way to check what cars a plate has been on?Having said that he also reckoned Nick Masons Ferrari 250 MM was valued at £5.7m on Saturday & that jumped up to £6m on the Sunday!

Think the Sultan of Brunei would want to buy S111 TAN? Reckon I could get a few K for it if I could convince him
I suspect if he wanted that plate he would already have it! certainly worth asking for a silly price on the offchance.365daytonafan said:

That car was owned by John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, he brought it not long before he died. Current owner brought the car from Bonham's widow, although not sure if the plate was on the car when Bonham had it.Who wrote this dross?
He probably can afford it; not "they could probably afford it".
"...most likely confirm its status as the UK’s most expensive private plate. The current record is £440,000 for F1...": so it is not presently the UK's most expensive plate.
Northumberland County Council; not "Northumberland City Council".
A member of a committee; not "part of a committee".
Foresight; not "foresightedness".
Inflating the price of his car; not "inflating the price of their car".
Time on my hands...

Slightly unconnected, but I spotted 'D1' on a Cayenne Turbo recently, driving through Smethwick, West Mids.
Brave man.
I have been spending a lot of time there for the last six months . Seen pretty much everything . Lambo murci included . High street is one of the safest feeling places in the country for me, because of the Sikh temple .Brave man.
Bentley are very common , Porsche more popular than they used to be .

X1, F1, all a bit boring. Plates need to be more fun, or relevant. Saw LAM80 on an old Urraco once, D14BLO used to be on a Diablo then on a Murcielago that lives near me, saw a DBS with A5TON on it in central London, and MAR10 on a Merc outside a restaurant called Mario's in the west end!
Totally agree. I once saw a Ferrari with a number plate something along the lines of WH0005H fly past me on the motorway, v funny.JapFreak786 said:
