great looking car except the Grille, too much.
very max powerish

That sort of grill hides a front mount intercooler but would lexus need/require a fmi on a hybrid mid management targeted car?

i like the......splits the dash into upper ‘Display Zone’ and lower ‘Operation Zone’

my car does that allready, when i operate the headlights from the operation zone the bulb on the dislay zone infront of me illuminates.

they do talk a load....

still, it looks good.

Agreed, if this is the 'full fat' version by the time it hits the streets it'll be 'skimmed, lactose and gluten free'

Just like some Audis and Evo x's the front end will be totally ruined with the edition of a numberplate!

the profile is crazy good, loving it. 3 series coupe is no match for this, in it's current state (in terms of looks, obviously)

I think it looks awesome if it retains or improves on the sort of performance figures that the GS450h has, it should be a worthy BMW alternative.

Good effort smile

If it looks like that come production time i'll eat my hat, I would be interested to see how a 4 door version would work with that design.

That could be a really great drivetrain if they make the electric motor(s) beefy enough.

All true but lately with the LFA and the CT200 were closer to their concepts.

I think Lexus have learned that they need to keep the promises of their usually very nice loking design concepts to avoid getting left behind.. The grill will inevitably change as it's not great by any measure but the side profile is like a MUCH improved A5, if they are going after the A4/5 and 3 series market then frmo the side they are bang on. Nice to see they are retaining RWD too.

And with emissions of less than 100g/km it could be a real winner for them. I wouldnt even mind if it go nowhere near the claimed economy because Mr Tax man wouldnt be having my pants down (quite as much).

On hybrid cars you need radiators for battery cooling, power electronics cooling and for cooling the electric motor too. Depending on what the target temperatures are for each system you could maybe combine those three in to two, plus a rad for the engine coolant, a PAS cooler and the AC condenser. Lots of radiators to hide behind grills.

Well I doubt they would mount a number plate on that grille, so expect future cars to use 'aspects' of the concept, probably the door handles.
