I want to post photos of 'my' NSX. Ok, ok, I mean, my dad's NSX on our recent alpine trip. Just cos I can.

I think it is beautifully proportioned car and the interior is fine, not the best but it is functional, practical and well put together (and this particular example has a spotless interior after 16 years).

random question but you don't have a brother who is a tree surgeon do you?

I thought I could see a seam at the back of the OS window frame. It's not obvious given it's body colour.

Nope. I have a brother but not a tree surgeon. Surname begins with K and he used to be a salesman and I think he is a driver now but definitely nothing to do with trees.

There's a NSX in my fantasy garage. The first time I went to Le Mans in 1996 the was one in the race and it finished too, great private entry result!.

F*** it was henry catchpole.

The 348, if I’m honest, was probably the car I was least excited about driving, assuming it would just be a poorer, slower first stab at the 355. But now I’m excited because it’s instantly obvious this car has some of the best steering, possibly the best, that I have ever sat behind.

Ah no worries must have been someone else, it's hard keeping track of nsx's as they often have X# NSX number plates on making them all look alike.

Anyway back on topic, I think the NSX & Ferrari 348 these days aren't really rivals, I suspect they're very different buyers. One appeals to one & the other to another.

One thing regarding the NSX & prices, is that there may just be the required number in the country to just be hard to get hold of, pushing the prices up.

I've been looking off & in for over a year now but the planets have never aligned. Whenever I'm without a toy, there are no good ones around, when I've got something in the garage there's always a few gaining interest.

The NSX is the least visually satisfying exotic sports car, imo. I think they are simply unattractive.

Interesting that their values are increasing. Apparently, others don't hold my view, but when you drive past me, the yawn won't be because I'm tired.

The Honda NSX has always been and will continue to remain, in my dream garage.

The design; immortal
Engine note; the most glorious high pitched growl
Legacy; cult icon

I saw a middle aged gentleman in a suit driving a purple NSX the other day. It stole my heart. I need one.

Saw a mint Type R a week or so ago. It looked like a Japanese GT racer! Probably one of the most desirable cars I've ever seen. I congratulated the driver on his taste.

I'm not sure the NSXs drivers will care as much as you think they will about your motivation for yawning.

Also going to add that back in the day when these were new a friend of mine borrowed a yellow NSX from Guy Salmons, he spent a day in it cruisin' up and down Kings road.

At the end of the day he took it back and bought a Porsche as NO ONE looked at him in the new yellow NSX!!!!!!!

Do you speak to him? I will have to mention you to him. Thank you for your compliments, he does look after it but also likes to use it properly. I did do a write up of our trip to the Alps:
