Gents.
Have you discussed the 20k 355 yet?

Looks insane value on the face of it.

Ferry do you have the front/rear bumpers? My current 16's already scrape the arches otherwise I'd be in there like swimwear. If they were cheap enough mind......

How much of the original car would be left once you've finished? It's a 1969 V8; the optimum year. The rest is just 'stuff'.

Discussions ongoing but apparently this is a future classic and the market for classics is going mental so they'll just keep it till is sells for the price they want...
Good news, its done under 10k miles since 2005 and up to that point the historys great.
Bad news, theres no proof it's been serviced since 2005 until the dealer did it earlier this year.
Ah well, guess that's discussion over. They were going to get back to me with a rough cost for me to swap mine. Heard nothing.May:

Sure there's someone else out there who wants a 3.2 that's lived by the sea, with a 7 year gap in service history in resale silver with cloth and wood and aftermarket ice...
Never mind if it doesn't sell, its bound to continue going up at a rate of £500 a month and the sitting around in a showroom will do it wonders.
Anyone spots a nice 3.3 touring please let me know.
Cheers,
Phill

Has been standing for 25 years. No reserve. In terms of what could possibly go wrong... the carburettor is probably the most complicated part of the entire car?!
That wheelarch looks like the very definition of rot.And I wonder what the patchiness along side here is? Rusting from the inside perhaps?

Body on a steel frame, so any rot on the outer body is all 'superficial', unless of course the body mounting point are rotten through.
Superficial doesn't mean cheap though! Check out the holes in this 'solid' car - chap doing the 'Nighthawk' Camaro in the Readers' Cars section.
