good news. I'd be after the whole lot (bar manifold - unless you'd need it?)! It's debadged and the straight 6 sounds fab currently but have a massively annoying rattle from the cat frown twin backbox gets a thumbs up!
I have a good m steering wheel and exhaust/cat
wheel and Cat sound good bud. What wheels does it have? 15's/16's?

Len, while I agree the double/single tailpipe are different. Would you be able to unbolt at the cat and bolt the 328 cat/mid/rear on?

Exhaust system different 328/323??
Yes, they're not as simple as being directly interchangeable, that plus 323s have a single tailpipe and 328s double.
You sure? I thought back box was the only difference (and even that's the same on the 'in' end.

How easy is Gliptone to use and get results.

The M5 could do with a perk up inside.

I asked the same of my tame spanner monkey as I just fancied my 323i to have OEM twins, there were words in explanation, I stared off into the middle distance and heard just "no, it's a massive PITA and more hassle than it's worth" and I'd be as well to fork out for a new, but aftermarket back box instead.

Had an eventful day. Was out for a drive with my best mate and his wife and car two cars in front of us wiped out massively. Looked like the retired gent hit a broken manhole cover which somehow caused him to spin the car (guess he may have over reacted to the bang) and flipped the car in the air couple of times before bouncing off a hedge and back onto the road.

Luckily the car was a relatively modern car, (E60 5 series or maybe the newer one) with loads of air bags and the guy and his wife both walked away unhurt except maybe a bit shaken up.

Now what got me was we were 2 cars behind him. The car immediately behind him just drove round the car which was visibly wrecked and carried on driving! What sort of can do that? How can that sort of person live with themselves? Do they have no interest in other people at all?

As for the car, it didnt have one straight panel left, would almost certainly say written off but what really struck me was how the doors still opened. Oh and they have air bags everywhere!

bah. Rubbish. Cat back system is about £300 (i technically only need a cat)

sent through the PM thing on here Ferry. 15's might work olly. My fronts are worn and MOT at the end of the month.

I have a set of 4 15" ten spokes with tyres that have turned less than 300 miles at home if that'd be any use.

Been meaning to stick them on the Bay of Dreams for a short while, but you know how it is.

I also have an E36 323i coupe that has everything but the front foot or so intact if you need other bits.

Hmmm good shout Len, forgot about yours!

Cat is the only thing I need but it's purely as its annoying. It'll pass the MOT without a cat running on LPG.

Will have a look over the car tomorrow and make a short list. My steering wheel hasn't worn its 140k very well. Neither has the drivers seat.

RumRunner on forum5 is selling a Clarke one for £100.

The whole 328 exhaust bolts straight onto a 323. IIRC the 28 has twin pipes all the way through, the 23 a single, so swapping one part is a pain, but the whole thing is a direct fit.
