Honda CBR1000 engine and turbocharged, as well, on a go-kart. Does this count?

Why would you mount the engine around that way?

The Dahlback Polo, gone is the humdrum four cylinder engine and in its place an Audi Rs4 sourced 2.7 litre V6 with a single (BIG) turbocharger which boosts to 2.4bar. The result? 990BHP and 1220Nm (circa 900ft/lbs)
It is also a full carbon bodied car and weighs in at 913KGs
I've been to Borlange ... had I known they had a decent engine tuner there, I'd have had a nosey... Also, notice the MILF HUNTER sticker on the engine. hehe

I hate these threads. Every post makes me feel that slotting an LS3 V8 into my MX5 is perfectly sensible.
Rubbish pics but one I've been working on recently (it's only an LS1 so not as sensible as an LS3 wink )

I hardly dare ask, but what's your budget? I'm telling myself it would be £10k plus and therefore I should just buy a Z4M instead...

Oh why did I have to read this thread, I bought an old Merc 230e the other week and I'm getting Ideas. Anyone got any ideas what to put in it, I was looking at a CLK 5.5 AMG engine on ebay last night.
Atleast do it properly with the ev12 brabus one wink

Or surely a 5.4 supercharged version would be even more fun! (the 55 AMG's are all 5.4).

Oh, don't worry, I have.

And Monster Miata.

And http://shop.partsworldperformance.com/ ... £10285 inc VAT for the 430bhp/420lbft base model, gearbox and stuff included. Just add a stronger diff, some coilovers and better brakes...

TH Automobile TH2RS. 780bhp tuned Porsche Turbo engine in the rear. Central driving position.

There is the TH2 which is more family friendly, but only has 480bhp.
