Sounds like a similar line of work to me.

That's why I started the "Ringing Kits" thread.

Lets see why?

For me with my track record and Meerkats on the case.

Standard Civic 1.6 fully comp' with £250 excess = £418

Civic with an H22 engine conversion declared fully comp' with £250 excess = £2,173.18

I have nothing against N1 style exhausts, quite like them in fact, but that is without a doubt one of the worst fitted exhausts I've ever seen.

Interesting that he's not put any pics of the engine in the ad?

So the DVLA now want an engineers report if you swap engines. Could this be the excuse for insurance fraud these pillocks have been waiting for?

Not at all it's brilliant. I've converted a couple of 155 Abarth Bravo's with a 20V Turbo from the Coupe' it would be even better if it was done legitimately.

Nope. Failure to declare modifications would invalidate the insurance (and insurance companies will check every possible loop hole so the payout doesn't come out of their profit margin) so if the scrote in the Puma converted Fiesta were to collide with you the driver would not be insured. M.I.B would pay out and that comes from everyone's premiums.
That's not actually true. Insurance companies, by law, still retain liability for third party claims in this kind of situation.
