I was gutted to miss the 100,000 mile mark click up on my Mk5 Golf GTI last weekend...
I noticed it was at around 99,987 and then when I remembered to look again it was on 100,038!
Maybe my Asperger's isn't as bad as I thought?
So you didn't check your speed for 51 miles I noticed it was at around 99,987 and then when I remembered to look again it was on 100,038!

Got no pictures of it over 100k because immediatly after taking this the car rusted, the wheels fell off, the gearbox exploded, a piston came out the engine and the nearside sidelight bulb went.

Did just the same in my wife's Freelander last week, although it was only on 100,008 when I looked. Easy to do though as it either shows the trip mileage or total, not both and we usually have it on trip.I noticed it was at around 99,987 and then when I remembered to look again it was on 100,038!
