He was doing so well until this monstrous Merc.

The other chap on this Excalibur and the 1934 Roller sounded like one of the voice on a Radio 4 comedy.

Whats a decent 05 CL500 costs these days 10k at best?

With commission that would be nearly 40k utter madness

I like his stool type thing they use in libraries.

That Excalibur really bought down the whole tone of the auction, talk about finishing on a low note. Very unclassy.

What is it with shonky old Mercs. and pallets? Look that librarians stool has changed colour, it's a cream like shade in the the blue foamed rump picture.

I wonder if some seriously rich person bought it as a joke gift for someone for Xmas? Wasn't there some story about a Premiership Manager making the worse players drive a Reliant 3 wheeler away from a training ground?

OK, it was a throwaway line that the auction featured two Mercs. that have been intimate with wooden pallets. The pic. of the 600 in the auction didn't sell it to me.

Really the whole tone reminded me off a boiler room salesman hooking his latest whale.

It was quite different from the car auctions I've been too. He was repeating himself a bit to the end.
