A lesson on how to go from "wow" to "meh" in one update.

Another vote for the previous version (from someone who will only ever look at not drive one...)

Should never pass comment on the looks without seeing it in the flesh but I will anyway.

The interior is dreadful - it looks like a modern Buick. The exterior is bland, germanic and not what you would expect from Maserati. Would much rather the out going model.

Sharp creases really doon't suit the Maserati ideal.

I love this burgundy car though:

Definitely prefer the outgoing model! This one looks like a 5 series got married to an Audi A6 and then had an affair with a Porsche Panamera and somehow produced a triple love child.

Rough.

The current model will still look good several years down the line. Quite like the next one from the pics.

The interior looks like a BMW & Merc mash-up. Which can be good... But not in an Italian car...

New Maseratis fail to give me a fuzzy feeling...

I know Maser haven't released any specs yet, but going off this photo I'd wager that it'll have 530hp when it comes out...

Engine specs released - I was right!

New Press Release said:
Power will come from two variants, a V6 turbo or V8, both are all aluminum and feature direct injection.

The 3.0 liter V6 is turbocharged and produces 410 bhp, four-wheel drive is an option. The Quattroporte V6 will get you to 60 mph in just about 5 seconds and top out a 177 mph.

The 3.8 liter V8 pumps out 530 bhp, and should hit the 60 mph mark in 4.7 seconds and top out at 191 mph. Both engine are mated to an 8-speed automatic manufactured by ZF.
