Saw this on the TV coverage of the BBC GP qualifying. You'd think Eddie Jordan could afford a decent plate rather than butchering a NI one.
The funniest thing amongst all the rabid nonsense on this thread is the "That's a good car ruined" quip.
Ruined for who FFS? Some sad stranger with camera phone and an internet connection? If somebody finds a plate they like, buys it and then fits it on their car they obviously feel comfortable with it, they are happy, what in the world would make you think they have ruined their car?
Nobody cares what you think.
And don't bother with the usual "flouting the law" and "displaying selfishness" crap unless you've never exceeded a speed limit in your life.
Ok so first one is a no brainer - mis-spaced, dodgy screws and all to create a tacky message on a wannabe Range Rover.
But what do the jury make of this? Ok so it has slightly dodgy lettering but it is a correctly spaced classic three number three letter on a decent car. Slightly naff 'fancy plate' plates, but otherwise no problem.
Until you get up close...
Oh dear. For me any personal plate that requires an explanation along the bottom is a fail - especially this one!
Enough to consign it to Room 101 or am I being overly harsh?

I bought my "perfect" plate - KE11OCK the day it was launched for under £1k from the DVLA. The next day I discovered that one of the major number plate dealers had somehow got there first. It has been on sale for £25k by them ever since...
I have suggested to them that there is a limited pool of buyers and that none of my immediate family are sad enough to want it but we remain some distance apart on price!
How's that work? You bought it but someone else is selling it? I bought my "perfect" plate - KE11OCK the day it was launched for under £1k from the DVLA. If that represents prestige, I'm glad I'm a peasant.Given the very negative influence any significant excess of money seems to have most peoples attitude and behaviour towards others here in the Essex Badlands I'm really delighted to confirm that I'm a peasant too...
