Sub £5k?

I paid sub £2k for mine.

I agree though, I couldn't do without my stbox.
Well sub £5k for the very best examples.

Mine was £4k for a relatively low miler 03 plate where the only problem was slight scuffing on the leather on the drivers sear bolster

S2000 of MR2 Roadster for me.

Part of me still regrets getting my 2nd MX-5 instead of an MR2. There is a lovely green MR2 Roadster round the corner from me, might have to pick one up for the missus if /when she wants a car. 2 x two seaters in one household isn't very practical, though!

A little while ago it would have been a Puma, but they seem to have fallen out of favour of late in these parts...
Definitely IMO the FWD equivalent of an MX5, no doubt about it.

S2000s are in another league.

E36 328s are much more refined and more a GT car.

Mk3 MR2 is a good shout, these are fun to drive. Find one without a knackered engine, and if it still has them, remove the pre-cats.

Mk2 MR2 Turbo, again more a GT car but for me a more enjoyable drive than the MX5.
