I was watching a show on the FF the other night that said the average customer will spend over 50k Euros on badges, matching alcantra underwear and various carbon fibre gubbins.

Ferrari record profits you say?
Dont forget Ferarri hair dryers. Although im sure theres less need in the hard top for these!

I cycled past this exact car (same reg, etc) a few weekends ago...parked on a drive, in an unassuming 'just your average' housing estate in St Albans.

Assumed it was one of the technicians from the local Maranello Concessionaires taking it home to show the family!!! confused

Nice car, but will have it's *rse whipped by depreciation in a fairly short space of time! yes

I can see the dilemma. I have nearly 300 grand to spend on a car but the depreciation is worrying me... I know, I'll make do with a 2004 3-series for a couple of years until this drops below the 200 grand mark.

I'm not convinced anyone who can spend 300 grand on a car will give a st about depreciation, what a dull thing to say.

Well, be convinced! I know a number of people within that demographic that give very serious consideration to depreciation when they purchase their cars!! You only have to look at the sales of the Aston Martin Rapide to see how quickly you can flush cash down the toilet, making the wrong choice... nono

Some – such as the 365 GTC/4 Break by Felber – are hideous.
You're not kidding...
That's a 400, and is challenging.

Don't think their 365 (bottom left here) is that bad.

Your both wrong that Shooting Break is based on a 365GT4 2+2 not a 400. Six tail lights at the back are the givaway it's not a 400.

never seen a front view picture of the Felber 365GTC4 before I agree quite nice looking but less interesting to look at than the car it's based on.

Agree with GTS440, just spent the morning at MIRA driving the alpine track and doing full throttle launches down the 1 mile straight. This is one impressive piece of kit, very very quick, not just in a straight line (saw 176mph on the mile straight from a standing start easily) but über quick in the twisties. Totally chuckable, shrinks around you and can do the calmer town/cruise easily. Genuinely phenomenal car, with room for 2 in the back and a decent boot. Personally love the looks, but understand if you don't, personal taste and all that. Also spent some time being driven by a professional racing driver which reminded me of my first go on the corkscrew at Alton Towers. Thanks Tony for taking me back all those years, a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a Monday morning!

The gearbox doesn't sound trick it sound like a st idea to brake and wear out. Am i right in thinking it's basically a 2 speed front gear box that slips the clutches to match the rear's speed?

Can't wait until they bring out the 'sports' version of this

The Ferrari FFS would be an appropriate moniker !

That would make me laugh

All joking aside - what's not to like - its like a BMW breadvan that's been supersized !

Dear Ferrari, Porsche et al,

I can understand the need for building 'practical' grand tourer cars - but do they absolutely have to be the size and weight of a planet? Our roads and parkings haven't grown any bigger lately, you know...

I saw a black one on a wet night outside one of the big hotels on Central Park in New York, a few months ago. Under the lights, with a light layer of water droplets, it was like the black spaceship from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - *so* black and smooth you couldn't focus your eyes on it properly - astonishing.

Living in the snowy north my girlfriend has asked for me to ensure I buy one of these with my lottery win, unfortunately I am £271,900 shy after the massive instant win victory.

IMO, I think they look fantastic and very cool. The idea of an all-weather, all kit V12 4WD monster is a great one and compared to the Porsche Panacota blob a much more attractive one (Although the new rear hatchback Porsche version may improve it considerably.)

10/10 for me in gunmetal grey with a glass roof....

cool
Yes, yes, yes! Lovely thing that.

Saw a black one on Stockley Bypass a few weeks back, looked fantastic thumbup
