I would like to be the sad git that points out that the spec of the Cavalier is wrong. All the ph2 SRi's had alloys, wheras the Corgi model shows the plastic wheel trim style of the ph1 cars getmecoat
incorrect all phase 1 sri had hot cross bun alloys mid range and late range had wheeltrims
only the sri 130 and calibre had alloys on the later cars as standard wink

The Astra would need 'screwdrivered' door locks to be accurate. Bonus points for the barrel sitting at a jaunty angle in the door. I don't think the resolution of the plastic moulding depicting the dash would be accurate enough to show a busted steering column and the ignition switch hanging down on its wires, so we can perhaps forgive that omission.. smile

" The Vauxhall Nova was the car to modify in the 1990s and few unmolested examples now remain. The Vanguards car is a detailed model of the 1.3 SR, the fastest Nova until the 1988 GTE"

Incorrect - The limited edition Nova Sport was the fastest Nova before the GTE and would run rings around an SR with it's twin webber carbs and red sports exhaust..

Just been sitting here with a brew, looking at the Capri thinking how it reminded me of The Professionals, then realised I was humming The Sweeney. Damm this middle aged mind fog.

Grrrr, why couldnt they bring them out when I was smaller, would have love these as toys.
When I was a kid, I had a Matchbox Cavalier GSi 2000 in maroon and several Astra GTEs in police, Vauxhall rally and John Welch rallycross colours. Sure I had a Nova SR too, might have been Corgi. I've still got most of mine in the loft, although I did wreck quite a lot of cars when I was a kid, trying to copy the A-Team.......

I would of prefered the Golf or 205 model though, but I guess I'll make do with the Nova smile
