Wow that was an expensive car when new; 145,590 DM is just under 73,000€. And that was nearly 20 years old.

Yes, I am certain that its another hybrid (same as RS2) - similar era as well.
It looks to me like a W140 shell, and the power quoted is not great as my 5500 of same period was 300bhp or so, shared the same excellent 4 speed auto box and regretfully some of the issues, degrading wiring, body shell etc.

Not for anyone short on cash, but a wild motor - W140/S500 of later vintage and without some of the earlier issues can be bought in rhd for £2.5k but are huge devices, wonderful on motorways but hard graft around town - especially parking.

Been thinking about an old Merc here in Spain, bangernomics and all that. Old Mercs are one of the very few things that are cheaper here than the UK. Performance cars are mindboggling, look at e36 M3s on this site too !!!

The owner, Jay, is a regular poster on MBclub.co.uk. A few members there bought cars off him and had good experiences. I should add I don't know or have ever dealt with Mercland and am not a regular poster on MBclub, but I've not seen anything to change my opinion on what I've read in the past
