To be fair the car at Bonneville was tuned within an inch of it's life, had masses of aerodynamic changes and loads of weight in the boot to get grip on the salt.
Significantly changed from the road car.
You can go and see it at Gaydon Heritage Centre (it was there a month or two back when I went anyway)Significantly changed from the road car.

Want this!!!!!!!!
Is the 186 a limiter?? i guess it is as if the M5 can do 200 with the same power?
I'd imagine that it is, seeing as 186mph is exactly 300km/h.Is the 186 a limiter?? i guess it is as if the M5 can do 200 with the same power?
The lairy car that they ran at Bonneville salt flats didn't have a great deal more power than this, and that was good for 225mph.
