Well, we all know that Trott is possibly - IMVHO - the most uninvolving and anodyne car video presenter ever to disgrace our computer monitors. His writing is also as bad as when he scribbled for What Car.

Jamie Corstophine was a mediocre road test hack at Autocar.

So here we have a video with two car journalists who have clearly risen above their level of competence. I don't think it was in any doubt the video was going to be rather dreary.

I know what you're implying, but I'm not one of the serial Harris sycophants. As much as I like Dickie Meaden's writing and presenting style (he's written some of the best EVO pieces in his time there, such as the 250F Nurburgring tribute and his Pikes Peak adventure), I found Harris' P1 review to be more involved, more detailed, and more passionate.

As much as I like Dickie Meaden's writing and presenting style (he's written some of the best EVO pieces in his time there, such as the 250F Nurburgring tribute and his Pikes Peak adventure), I found Harris' P1 review to be more involved, more detailed, and more passionate.

Fair do's. I think Harris' benefits with the long QA with the McLaren guy and pootle around town. Something probably out of Dickie's/Evo's grasp. He at least doesn't resort to cringey soundbites like "spanking" it and calling the car a bh.
