Looks like a VXR8. And not in a good way. Can someone order one in Slate Grey, delete the spoiler and keep it nice for me for a few years?

Looks great on the move, but those wheels are awful. Less bold colour, spoiler delete and some BBS LM wheels would make this a winner though. Having access to an 11 plate XKR, at least I know that the soundtrack will be spectacular.

However, Jaguar, please bring back some of that supercharger whine we got with earlier XKs!!!

Ugh. I'd want it in gunmetal with standard looking wheels and no spoiler please.

If I want a Subaru I'll buy a Subaru, not a Jaaaaaaag.

So much want - so little cash!
Does look a bit like a VXR8 but so much better resolved. That spoiler is superb. Another plus for the manual transmission but, to be honest, Jag don't make cars for my end of the deposit account!

'Heavy' use of Carbon Fibre? Kinda defeats the object

Vauxhall called - they want their VXR8 back. Grim.

Mind you, I bet you could order it with a standard XFR kit, in a nice, understated colour, without those appalling Cheshire wheels. In which case - yum!

Saw an XKR the other day, latest version. Startlingly good-looking thing.

Safe money goes on the M5 - great looking though.

There is a reason they are called spoilers, because they spoil the car...

7/10 - too bling and not enough bang.

Think the point of this is being missed a bit. Yes it's shouty. The spoiler, to my eyes, totally spoils it. BUT... there is a massive market in the middle east for Brabuses and modified luxury cars; this is one straight out of the factory. It's not meant to be a mass market vehicle, according the caranddriver.com they're limiting it to 100 units a year in the US.

Thinking of it as a C63 AMG Black rival for 20 grand less makes it seem quite good value....

Also, the 'regular' XFR is frikkin quick, and will still be on sale, and be at least £10k less. Don't like the wing? Don't have it (or the 35ish extra bhp) and save yourself a small fortune.

The spoiler would not put me off (if I happened to be in a position to be able to buy one)

Understated M5, brutish AMG, stylised Audi or partsbin Jaguar.

I would like to read the market positioning blub for the placing of this car. it would make fascinating reading. Who do they think they will take sales from?

Remove the wing and it'd probably look okay.

Love it. Love the wing - am sure it will be a buyer choice though for those that dont.

Would much rather have the wing than have a fake exhaust sound played through the stereo..... The only issue with the Jag from my perspective is 2nd rate infotainment (bar silly synthesized exhaust note) compared with the M5.

Not a fan at all I'm afraid, it is far too vulgar for my tastes. I love the M5 because it looks just like a regular M Sport to most normal people - it blends in. This simply doesn't.

From the company that make the XJ, and even the XF in standard form, this is just tacky.
+1

Always thought of fast Jags as more comfortable Q-cars than the shouty, vulgar German lot. This does nothing for me, and that wing is hideous.
