Seen this one at Oulton a few times.... It's had me heading for the Classifieds on more than one occasion...
Good effort at a Countach replica but I can't help thinking that a different donor might have helped to really capture the shape....

0-100mph: 6.5 seconds
That's quite quick.
Seriously or do I need a whoosh parrot?
A Veyron takes 5 and a half seconds to 100, a normal Hayabusa takes 5.3 seconds...

In other words, yes. Yes you do.

Wish the passionless clones that churn out tat for Ford/Vauxhall/VW/Audi would take note.

THAT is how to build a SPORT version of a car.

A friend and I were discussing this amusing vid a while back...
'Hayabusa Suzuki Cappuccino in-car video @ Donington track day 2010'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNgfUxbyNUU

Another Busa Cappuccino spanking many icons on track. Looks like it has a spaceframe chassis.

Love the idea of this, the standard car is one of the most miserable hateful things I have ever driven (hired one on honeymoon), amazing place, great roads, wrong car.

Just love it. Insane.

I'd love to be at the lights with someone alongside thinking it was just a Barry Boy mobile. Then...

I know the man behind that (and behind the wheel)

It's not space framed...
roll caged and some serious internal mods (ie the engine is in the passenger foot well for better weight distribution and drive train issues) but it still the same "car"

It is frankly comedy how it blows past most things on the track..

Can't agree with that (unless you drove a serious duffer), as its one of the sweetest handling little cars I've owned or even driven, including Loti. Yep its quite snappy in the wet (primarily due to turbo lag), but great fun.

This car on the other hand is a completely different beast! I'm sure the excellent acceleration figures are due to massive traction and high rev limit of the 'busa engine..

Follow the link, look at the pic. That rear wheel arch is pure Countach.

Is that the car that was in PPC, they said it had bits of suspension from an A1GP (or similar) car?

Yes that's the one. I encountered it at Anglesey and wondered why that Suzuki was the only car I couldn't catch, keep up with or overtake in my Atom 300. Awesome car and driver skills

That's not this car. The one in the Flickr pics is the one mentioned above that was featured in PPC Mag

Yeah it is the car from PPC...

ETA: Wayne(creator) describes it as "Roughly 1/3 A1GP car, 1/2 a Hayabusa, lots of sheet metal work, three girlfriends, eighteen months, blood, sweat, almost some tears, a few other parts....."
It has " narrowed version of the A1GP caliper"
Lola A1GP chassis parts...
