That seems very heavy, people have in the past mentioned why not turbo/busa an Elise and it was always dismissed as being to heavy. However an S1 is lighter than this with a car engine and box fitted, with a Busa engine and box it'd be even lighter and have a much better chassis to start with unless I'm missing something?

Love the idea of this, the standard car is one of the most miserable hateful things I have ever driven (hired one on honeymoon), amazing place, great roads, wrong car.
