Best ice scraper?
Discussion
Pee does it, but a two litre bottle of warm (room temperature) water tends to do the trick too.
Personally, I just get in the car, set everything to max as per the car manual, which includes putting the air con on full which is the default setting in my car. Five minutes later I am completely ice free on all windows, which is no mean feat on a Volvo Estate. If you have a problem defrosting leave the house 2 minutes earlier you tt.

I have a BMW one that works a treat from an old car I had, can also be found on ebay

Only slight problem is the alloy shaft (stop sniggering at the back) gets pretty cold!

The best answer is warm water.
Even cold water works better than a scrapper.
Scapers and old credit cards/cd covers/bits of plastic are for mongs who cant think of a better solution to a very simple problem.
Tell you what. When you get a foot of snow on your car, I'm sure your cup of cold water will do swimmingly. I use one of these for a reason. Even cold water works better than a scrapper.

Mongs indeed.
Dear mc,
me & Mrs Noise have double ended scrapers (oo, er, nooo [/Frankie Howerd]) in a sort of flattened U shape.
Best we've had - scrapes both going and, er, coming and you can press harder too.
I've searched t'internet images and was disappointed - neither dodgy pictures nor of any scraper.
Maybe it was last years thing?
regards,
Jet
