If only the wheel arch gaps would actually be that small on the production version...

yes

Current cars are soo big, you need cartoon-sized wheels to avoid massively underwheeling them.

Saw a poster of the new golf here:

The wheels on it looked ridiculously large. And that's not a GTI, no that's a "TSI Bluemotion".

Like 21" large. Considering it's a car that even now is mostly delivered with 16" wheels, it's just nuts

Stupid, stupid, stupid. calling it a "4", perhaps they don't want to sell it in China, but numbers are a big deal there. 8 means "luck or fortune", "6" means "money" and "4" means "death".

Would you buy a "BMW Death series". I's not a Harley.

It would hardly be impossible to change the name for a different market - plenty of manufacturers do it.

Yes, e.g. Alfa Romeo sold the 164 as the 168 there iirc

Can you actually buy them? Was talking with a couple of fellow BMW enthusiasts a little while and one of them said he actually tried to acquire some but couldn't because they were all owned by people who wouldn't let them go.

Where/how do you buy them? tongue out
Maybe email stefan_quandt69@gmail.com. He'll sort you out if asked nicely.

Even bigger? Tut tut. Could pass as a new 6 series.

Thanks mate, maybe I will, but not until long after new year.

But you should remove that e-mail (edit your post) because I'm afraid some spamming system will catch it up and start spamming it...

BMW 4 series

Length: 182.7 inches
Width: 71.9 inches

Ford Focus Hatchback

Length 171.6 in
Width: 71.8 in

If you find the 4 series too wide than you seriously need to reconsider your driving license

It is nice but it's just an amalgamation of all the current models into a new sized coupe! Nothing more, nothing less.

You mean like all previous BMW's for the last 30-40 years?

Lol you could maybe argue that but things like the 6 series, Z4 and other have been let's say innovative at least as far as the likes of BMW and Audi go. This to me is nice as I said but it has looks of the current F10 M5, the E92 M3 and Coupe, the M6 etc...Why not come up with a completely fresh design?
