Love it. I'm a huge BMW fan but current M5 doesn't do a lot for me.

This ties top with the yet to be released RS6, forget the M5.

580 BHP is all well and good but in the UK 6 months a year, you'll just be spinning away all that power with the traction control light flashing away.

I think the Audi RS models are the way foward, because at least you can put the power down.

Has anyone actually seen a current shape E63? No me neither, there are Lambos that are more popular than these super saloons.

Dont like the M5, so I guess the E63 is my favourite of the two, but who actually buys these cars any more?

There's looaaadddsss of them around here, and "around here" is only about thirty miles from you. I reckon I must have seen at least ten different ones.

Are those seat switches new?
Nope... we have them on our 2002 (52) E430 Estate... they control the air inflators inside the seat (lumbar, squab inflators)

Bring the 4WD to the UK, and on the estate would be just ideal!

Plenty of all kinds of current AMG Mercs around here, including E63s. Visiting my local M-B dealer they always seem to have one or two in for servicing etc.

Struth that's a good way of loosing a lot of money in a year! Do people really need >500bhp in ANY road car??? I mean really??

It's starting to look like these HP figures are produced just for the sake of bragging rights.

1-2-3-4secs.... and .... ohhhh crap i've just lost my licence.

Well my S65 has 670hp and 840 ft/lbs and it's completely fine. For the six months of the year it's decent weather you'll be lugging around all that extra 4WD gubbins dulling the thrill of the enormously grunty engine and rear wheel drive!!!

People don't need more than about 100bhp in any road car. They just want it.

I've scratched the 500 BHP itch with my XFR, now looks like I have an bigger itch... E63S for me - a couple of years from now methinks.

I thought the steering box on RHD cars fouled the transfer box and therefore we can't have them?

I can't see them bothering to re-engineer the 4WD cars for RHD (or vice versa). You might be able to order a LHD one straight from a factory somehow?
