I do think everyone talking about the 200k price tag is rather missing the point...

I mean there are 6 knocking around so they are hardly trying to market the car to "ordinary" consumers anyway.

If they shift the 6 at 200k my reckoning is they would be some way off breaking even on the development costs of this beast. It is a PR exercise, a toe in the water moment, to gauge reaction and interest amongst those in the market for a 400bhp saloon that slightly undercuts the next generation of M, RS, AMG's.

Given I'm pne of the very few people who've been in one all I can say is that it's quicker than an AMG, M3 and GTR. It's an engineering testbed... but yes you can buy it for $200K...
