Ho hum... Yet another Sub/Toyota video of their car "drifting" on gravel and mud. THAT IS NOT DRIFTING! Real drifting is where the car has sufficient power and diff lock to spin both its rears on a good surface, not just when its un-weighted or on the loose! My old Escort 1100L would do that...
I think it was supposed to be demonstrating Subaru's rallying roots....

We get it, you prefer to see some speccy tt sending his blossoming daughter off to university in a new Polo instead. Because that's a far better advertisement of a cars credentials isn't it... wink

What a stupid advert, seems Subaru can't create anything with even a little class.

Great video, great driving.

I suppose the "blonde" effect worked, since many posters have responded to that. More to the point, I think it underlines that the BRZ does go sideways.

Hell I want one (yes, yes, the blonde too)
Or underlines that it ONLY goes sideways...

Right, got it now...

The ASA..."The UK's independent regulator for advertising across all media"

So this is an industry voluntary code, is it?

So when you take your BRZ back to Subaru after 12 months because of a horrible bottom end knocking noise, because you've been thrapping the car from absolutely stone cold (as depicted in their advert) I wonder what they'll say to you...

Is that what they call "auto emoción with a Nippon twist"?

I assume that because his face is artfully obscured til the 'big reveal' with cheeky wink at the end, he's famous (in Spain) - can anyone ID?
