Unless there is a model planned with two children sized back seats it can never be considered as an alternative to a 911 it must be compared to a boxster. You gotta compare apples with apples and the number of seats is a pretty basic place to start!
True, a Toyota Aygo is more of a 911 competitor.PiloteHuitNeuf said:
What's going on with them tiny rear calipers? look at the last photo - anyone else think the front/back calipers look odd in size comparison?
Good spot, they look horrendously cheap. I'm sure they do the job, but for a car that is going to sell as much on the way it looks as how it drives, I think that's a bit of a faux-pas.I went to a preview event this week and it is a very good looking car with a great interior. There was a red V8 and white V6 on show and I would choose a white one. Very nicely finished and looks very promising, hope they sell really well, impressions so far are that they deserve to do so.
"Sounds great until we get to the "8-speed auto". Most of all 911's and half of R8's are Manual's and even the "autos" are clutched versions. They need to get a manual in that thing."
you may be surprised to learn that most new ones sold in are in fact PDK in the case of the Porsche
It has a quick shift gearchange system, changes gear in 150ms, same as a PDK transmission.
Brakes are on the 3.0S 380PS
Front Disc Diameter (mm) 380
Rear Disc Diameter (mm) 325
Porsche 911 Turbo S Cab is £133,663.00 before options
