Other than in an Abarth version, can the Fiat 500 ever be driven by a bloke and not look like Louie Spencer driving to a gay rights parade???

The missus wants to get one and from time to time now I find myself driving her car when she needs my A6 for horse duties. I like what the 500 stands for but cant get my head around driving one!! Someone please show me the light.............

I quite like them myself. Especially the Abarth version.

Missus quite hates them tbh, however i think a guy can get away with driving them providing the colour and wheels are decent enough. No powder puff blues and wheeltrims for example.

Judging by the number of times this keeps coming up there must be a lot of blokes on PH with very, very small penises.

There are only good cars and bad cars. Buy a good one and enjoy it! driving

Sorry for posting again, but I'd missed this the first time round:

If you already think that you would look like Louie Spencer, who is a bloke, surely you already think it looks like a blokes car? Problem solved.

Only the Abarth but even then its still a bit feminine. Probably the most girly out of the current crop of small fashion cars.

I saw a bloke driving one just like that last night on my way home from work, it didn't suit him.

I drove past and thought it had been in a front and rear end shunt, the wheelbase is so short for such a tall and narrow car.

Its more about where you are.

Middle of london, looks like youre advoiding tax and congestion with the twin air, or just looks like youre being smart and using a car that is really bloody easy to park and use in traffic (its power steering is turned up to a 11, and the 1.2 have a button to lighten it up further!).

I assume they have something racey in the Garage at home!

Of course most people dont really care about cars, so by the rules of cool (to boring norms) not caring about youre car is very cool.

What about a scirocco 1.4?

'kinell. Another of these threads?

A car is genderless. Do you really care what people think of you when they see you driving a certain car?

I drive my wife's MINI a lot. I'm a 6'3" shaven-headed severely-angry doorman so I probably look daft to a lot of people. But I don't care, because it's a great, fun car to drive.

By the car that you want to.

Of course, drive what you like. I'm not sure people will even notice.

I don't have a Fiat 500

- but I might have a small penis!

I'll ask the wife....

I like the 500!

Depends how massively insecure you are.

What does it matter what anyone else thinks of you driving a car. Are you insecure? confused about your sexuality?

It could be worse, you could get the bus. No excuse for that other than being under the age of 17 or dead.
