I got a few shots of them going very sideways round a hairpin during SS2
And also a short video filmed with my hidden GoPro!

Still a bit sore that we only completed two stages - but those 12 miles convinced me that I should have bought a RWD rally car years ago. We holed the sump in SS2, but didn't realise until control at SS3. There were some huge ruts and bumps, so have to assume one of them was the culprit.
What a cracking event, brilliant support from spectators, makes you realise what the sport should be about. Fair play to Dan for his first co-drive on a stage rally - daunting stuff.
Full report/ video to follow. Inevitably plotting next event.
All crowd-sourced images and videos are brilliant. Thanks to all.

A cracking day, was very impressed by the DS3 which seemed to be going well. Huge spectator numbers too.

Wyedean was a cracking day out as usual. Saw you on stage 2 Chris and looked to be doing well! Shame to hear that you didnt get much further!
The civic seemed a bit of a beast, as did a few of the escorts. Expected a bit more from the V8 escort, seemed very quiet and slow but dont know all the info on it..
Definatly makes you think about selling your road going pride and joy, buying a banger and getting a rally car. Keep the nutty driving off the roads...

Civic finished 40th of 85 finishers with the v8 'scort just behind. Agree that the civic sounded wild, the always do.The civic seemed a bit of a beast, as did a few of the escorts. Expected a bit more from the V8 escort, seemed very quiet and slow but dont know all the info on it..

How bonkers do you have to be to consider doing a forest rally in an Elise?
