The greatness about this story is how it clearly sticks two fingers up at the bullst road safety nazis’ agenda. Speeding is as socially unacceptable as drink drinking? fk off. The guy’s a hero. Those liberal mother fking pussies can eat st. Good job !
Really? Stick around, you will do well in here...

And this ladies and gentleman is wht thew forums are effectively over for many I believe. A real shame.

If there's one thing the police can't stand, it's having blatant disregard for the law rubbed in their faces. I reckon he's getting prosecuted. The lure of getting a smug face picture in the DM. What a pillock.
This.

A traffic officer once told me they have the discretion to ignore a lot of things, but can't be seen to be ignoring things. There's a world of difference between doing 90mph on a motorway past a traffic car, and doing it in front of a traffic car AND witnesses. You'll get pulled because they cannot turn a blind eye if anyone else is watching, and not necessarily for the offence itself.

By making the entire DM readership aware of the stunt, this chap has put the police in a no-choice situation. I think it's unimaginable that they were not aware of the JoG-LE run already from this forum, but nothing happened. I bet it does now!

Shame. Those who needed to know already knew. There was no need to brag.

Blatant disregard for the law aside for a moment; what a fun story! Bravo!

No, but it would seem that he has been compliant in supporting their writing of the story?

it says it is from 'Triangle News' who are a 'sell your story'-type agency.

he's not dealt directly with the Fail/Scum, but he has posed for photos to the agency.

Incidentally I reckon you could EXACTLY date this from the angle & position of the sun, the Land's End picture at 5:36am seem particularly identifying.

It does look like early September, but someone with better astronomy skills than me (non-existent) could certainly date it.

The Daily Mail is the definition of st.

But we've all known that for a long time.

The final nail in the coffin was last year when Wikipedia removed the DM from it's list of sources that could be classed as 'news'.

To be fair, Wikipedia is no more a reliable source than the DM.

Dave Gorman did in interesting experiment in one of his shows that demonstrated exactly that (about Wikipedia, not the DM).

Which is the whole point.

If a Wikipedia doesn't see the Daily Mail as any sort of reliable news source, there is no hope for the filthy rag.

No, it shows the prejudices of the Wikipedia editors - The Independent is certainly not more reliable than the Daily Mail, but they don't have a prohibition on that.

the Independent is pure online clickbait, they stopped publishing a newspaper a couple of years ago. It doesn't deal in facts, but in clicks.

The Daily Mail may well be shoite but never underestimate its reach, it's probably the most read 'news' website going.
