Our dogs are pedigree Schipperkes.
They were being prepared/trained for 'show' before we bought them off the breeder.
Had them neutered (IIRC instant disqualification) but didn't get them before they had their tails docked
We just wanted them as pets... they are perfectly normal (if slightly too aggressive towards trespassing strangers) house pets.
Until you stand them on a table to brush their coats. They immediately stand stock still, bolt upright and stare straight ahead like a fking statue... freaky 9 years I've been trying to get them out of that habit

I really hate that one, of all the st ones, that is the sttest, I destest that anyone shows their dog, I mean, its a dog, it should be chasing Squirells, rolling in st, barking, pissing, dumping, humping and doing all manner of doggy stuff. It shouldnt be stuck in a crate being carried up and down the country and all ponced up, sat on a table while some old farts decide whether its any good, it is a dog, by definition its awesome.
Therefore this sticker annoys me, the fact its a "SHOW DOG", it is no better or more important than anyone elses dog and the implication that I may crash into it if not warned that there is potential Crufts winner in there insults my intelligence, I know that if anyone has that on their car they are a grade one knob socket.

Must admit, this is partly why I have just got a mutt, to go with my moggies. Too much inbreeding, too much weird behaviour. I also have an old Collie who has, amongst other things wrong with him HAYFEVER, a fking working dog with hayfever. Ridiculous.
On topic..
On a VW with a roofrack and 'rust'
"Brucey says you were right to go lower"
2/10 for originality on the car
6/10 for a sticker.

At least they have normal life now ! ours is a Poodle/Terrier thing (Think Gnasher from the Beano), grooming him is a battle of wits, he gets bit grumpy if I am over vigorous with the comb and trys to fk off at any distraction, He knows he is awesome, I think he is awesome so dont need some judge checking his Withers, gait or anything else, i would hope if they did he would just ward them off with a well aimed lipstick deployment and his predator breath.budfox said:

It's just that they are trained to stand still for inspection and it has really been drilled into them.
Stand and don't move whilst you're prodded, pocked and squeezed.
Not natural... handy at the vets though
At home as long as they come, leave, sit and stay when told they can pretty much do what they like.

However I also feel the same way about the "baby/princess/child on board" ones too
A good few years back i visited my mum who was horrified that the chap next door had a sticker in the back of his car proclaiming he had a "Big Knob"
When i left I had a look at the neighbour's car and the sticker read "Fat Willy's Surf Shack"
Used to see those quite regularly, wondered whether the place still exists so i googled it and it does. Also came back with image of one of their old car stickers.
