What they need to do is take it racing.
And this will help, How?Also its not in production yet
When it is out it needs some heritage so get it on track McLaren. I agree, not sure what class it could fit into, is their nothing LM it could do better than the 12C, have three of those next to my office as well, view out my window is interesting most days of the week

Genuine question.
I answered on the previous page, or was the answer not satisfactory? Think about weight transfer and traction, as well as visibility. Every little helps.I suspect the side that the driver sits on makes no tangible difference. Perhaps some like the Wookie knows?

All a bit OT though.

Yes, and I'd like to share your hilarity too. Last time I checked, a good proportion of track cars in the UK were LHD, particularly race cars, and I don't recall it being an issue as most tracks in the UK tend not to allow on-coming traffic. Genuine question.
No problem here Nick... I'll hold my hand up, I misread. I wasn't referring to track use... It is supposed to be a road car owners can also take to the track... LHD, sitting low down etc, is going it be a real pain on UK roads and I'm talking no passenger, just driving in general. Doesn't bother me that it's LHD only though.Edited by nickfrog on Thursday 28th February 10:56

I can't think of any classes it'd be suitable for, any more than the 12C is.It'll be known for the quickest ever road car around a track. Not the quickest accelerating, or quickest top speed - just quickest around a track. Or "quickest" as I'd like to think of it!

I guess we'll see in the fullness of time, but I suspect it won't be as quick around any track as a Radical SR8 at 1/10th the price.Olivera said:

Maybe not but that's not comparing apples with apples is it. The Radical is built purely to do that thing... What people fail to realise is if McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche etc simply wanted to have a crack at building the lightest, fastest, minimalist car out there... Engine, seats, basic controls etc... They could easily out do a Radical or Venom type car where speed was everything and comfort, day to day usability, docile in traffic etc not considered. They are completing in totally different markets.HighwayStar said:
