They've all done it at points, and Nokian weren't found out IIRC, they admitted it.

The past couple of years have been "real" tyres and they're still top in class where they were before.

Nokian make great winter and all season tyres, and good summer tyres. Though I wouldn't recommend the Nokian H at the start of this thread, it's massively out of date.

I have summer Nokian tyres - Nokian zLines on my C32 AMG.

The price difference between them and the Pilot Sport 3's I had before was minimal, but I chose the Nokians as they had generally better reviews and the consensus was that they were less noisy and lasted longer.

I haven't had any problems in wet or dry yet and they seem to be lasting well.

I think you are slightly wrong there old chap. They did it for 10 years and only admitted after the finish paper accused them.

I'm a massive tyre snob and love Michelin as summer tyres. I purchased some used wheels with Nokian W3 tyres for a Mini Cooper Clubvan and was sceptical after running Michelin and Continental winters on other cars and I can honestly say that the Nokian's are for me the winter answer to summer Michelins. The Mini is unstoppable in the snow the only thing that does stop it is when the snow is so deep that it is grounded on its belly. Even then it ripped off its engine cover off the bottom, smashing through the snow and driving past 4wd's stuck on summer tyres. In milder whether they feel compliant and confident and on cold tarmac they give brilliant traction, feed back and confidence when driving at speed. Nokian developed the first ever winter tyre back in the 1930s and are produced in Finland so don't underestimate them just because they are an unknown brand in the UK.
