Ah well, I've done the standard thing and ignored most of the advice on here. I didn't think I'd be comfortable/happy with putting it on ebay and didn't want the hassle, so I used the cartakeback scheme to get £130 for it. Unfortunately, come back home to a £60 for being caught in a bus lane in Bath at 3 in the morning a few nights ago. F**k!

If the car were to be scrapped I would have been tempted to fill the engine up to the brim with cooking oil, drained the cooling system & re-fill it with Coca Cola......then set off redlining it to the scrappy and see if it would make it!!

Ps - What would happen if you were to do this???
