Saw a Fisker in Monaco and thought it looked fantastic. Would make a great "proper"car instead. Better than efforts from Porsche, Ferrari & Aston.

I hope they haven't asked C M to move offices and clear desks.

When we did the factory tour (highly recommended !!) a couple of years ago and we went past his then office. The paperwork was piled everywhere. Big piles - rolls of drawing - eveything.

The office was a bit like that when his father ran things. Nice family; not everywhere lets punters tour around, when they know there is a long wait list for their cars.

Frankly i'm suprised Fisker got as far as they have. It's one thing to go around bad mouthing the major OEM's for there failings (and they have a few) but entirely another to make a car company profitable / workable without those same failings......... You might not like the way FORD/GM/VAG etc conduct their business, but they do manage to sell tens of millions of cars worldwide per annum, and that is actually really pretty difficult to do!

Fisker got £342 million from the US Government, said they'd sell 15000 cars in their first year, yet have actually achieved 9/10ths of f*ck all. Yet another green-car failure.
Is this what you get when you use 'Dream Liner' batteries ?

Morgan's decision is because of success, Fisker's is a sign of failure.

Try EVO or Octane on iPAD, both are brilliant and getting better. Now can I have a job Mr Metcalfe?
I don't agree. Unfortunate as they probably are the best. The actual content is pretty light and doesn't take long to read, leaving the rest of the month to gloat over pictures and read ads. I guess not enough people buy them to justify more journos?

Craig Ferguson? I've seen him on YouTube (mostly talking to his robot skeleton sidekick or flirting incessantly with his female guests), but I've no idea of the origin of the joke. Can't imagine many Brits will have a clue about that one.

Let's just accept that the green car hasn't worked and we can go back to proper cars with big engines instead smile
biggrin

I was just wondering if some sort of GM LS might fit?

They look beautiful, but there's a bit of a flaw in the design at present.
