Hmm, should imagine its fairly "rapid" compared to stock which had like 65 bhp, 160 bhp with decent torque in something weighing probably still way less than a ton would go pretty well.

But the forward motion would be, for me, would be secondary to my feeling of impending doom when driving a nearly 40 year old Easter Bloc budget car with a Rover V8 stuff where there was a little four cylinder, the RV8 isnt that heavy but I am guessing its heavier than the Skoda one with the new gearbox.

Get that wrong on a wet road its like driving lump hammer from the wooden end, its probably better than you expect, right until you get cocky and it bites.

Mildy tongue in cheek comment based on all the additional weight, unless they have made it a front-mid engined...but the seats would be behind the b pillars

It will be heavier at the rear but an RV8 isnt all that large or heavy in the scheme of things, think a 4 cyl Pinto engine is similar, possibly heavier.

Still, bet it is a car you could soon find out what lift oversteer is in if you werent all that sure

Sure, if you look hard enough you'll notice the wider tyres and full roll cage but at first glance it really doesn't appear too far from stock. Even the standard exhausts have been kept, although I don't believe they're still functional. The squirm under full throttle though...

Came across the clip on youtube yesterday thought of throwing it in here. Car looks great though seems to be an absolute arse to drive. Owner absolutely craps himself when the presenter half gives it some.
