Looks like a piece of a st. Has 550bhp. Pass.

That said it's effect a sleeper would have been better when there were actual sierras being driven around lol.

I think I understand this sentence. If it is standard ride height, standard looking exhaust and a National Trust sticker, I think you make have a decent shout at this thread!

Yes I know the yellow pipework is hideous but it came already on the donor car when we did the swap before Xmas!

Should be around 250hp when I get it mapped in a few months time. Also running the full 5 stud GSI brakes, Bilstein dampers and Apex springs. It's a proper little rocket and handles surprisingly well!

Indeed although I'm from near Warwick. MIJ provided the best quote for a custom exhaust so made the journey up just before Xmas.

Yeah, they give decent prices for full exhausts, but not so good for repairs to standard exhausts hehe

Although the Skyline engine in reception is nice to mooch at while you wait smile

Had the pleasure of a day driving round in my local VW specialists Corrado VR6 turbo.. putting out something in the region of 370BHP. Looked completely standard outside apart from some nice 17" OZ alloy wheels and a custom exhaust system.

If you believe everything you watch on Top Gear you'd think such a car was undriveable.. and indeed if you slam your foot to the floor in first or second, you got no traction at all. But if you don't do full-bore launches and then get more progressive once you got into 3rd and beyond the performance of the thing was staggering.. it honestly felt as quick as any of the real supercars I'd ever driven, or maybe it was just the shock of going that fast in a car I traditionally associate with half that power.

It was utterly fantastic fun. But very thirsty. And fairly "Q" until you opened the taps as it did make a fair amount of noise!
Bit of a post revival, but I remember that car well, it was such a rocket! A lad I know works at said tuning firm... Really knows his stuff. I remember going out alongside him in my friends 400hp Evo 5, there was literally no difference once moving, if anything the Rado just pulled on us slightly. The thing lit up the fronts on the M6 at 60mph!

Slightly low, but....

A Q car. With miss-matched mirrors. Excellent work Sir.

That Astra is the epitome of a sleeper, still a recent ish model that is still common, no sporting affectations, dirty, dull colour, basic spec, steelies.

it looks for all the world like it would be delivering parcels or curries, carrying a harassed and skint young mum or just being a beater.
