The comments mention a SRM V8 from Swiss Racing but that's the one behind, which has a different rear end. I'm none the wiser.

The sound of inserting the key into the barrel, turning it two clicks to hear the faint whirring of the ancilliries and then pressing the starter button to hear the thunderous sound of a Ferrari F40 waking up from its slumber and bellowing into life.

Sadly I have never done this, I have sat in the passengers seat and watched someone do it though and it is rather special.

Good call. Although my brother's 4.3 Griffith sounds better, probably the nicest sounding car I've ever heard. My Dad had a V8 County Land Rover with a straight through exhaust and that sounded quite special. Guess we like V8s in my family!
