It is a bit weird, it seems "cheap" for 1200 bhp but a lot of money for a reworked engine, brakes and suspension, would be interested to see what else they do for the $150,000 on top of the base car.

Bear with me on this;
Has anyone, as a kid, done that thing where you get a garden cane and stick a lump of plasticine the size of your head on the end, then start swinging it left-to-right-to-left-to-right etc in a horizontal plane?
Yes?
Well that's what I guess the handling will feel like....

1200 hp and road tax of only 220 a year.

What's not to like.

So VW group spent 4 years+ developing the Veyron, and then the supersport - 8 litre W12, 4 turbos, 10 radiators, etc...
And you can just stick a large blower and steel rods in a V8 Mustang and get the same result (1200hp in a production car)?

The pubilicity that VAG got from the hype around the Veyron was probably worth more to them that the actual sucess of the car!!!

Its about time Ford released a new GT and this time let Shelby mess around with it. For example they done the 720bhp quad turbo GT90 concept car in the 90s!?? Maybe the world is ready for one!! Imagine a modern take on a GT90, Shelby tuned with a twin-charged Coyote V8, with say 1800bhp??

The stuff dreams are made of ehhh lol - but at least what i have said is do-able/obtainable!!

I'm so praying we get proper RHD versions of the next Mustang with the big v8's, I know we get some nice cars here in europe, but it's hard to top the value and fun factor of a good old american muscle car, we have been denied to long!

Meanwhile at Ford headquarters:

'If there are no objections let it be unanimous...
a very merry unbirthday, a very merry unbirthday,
...A verry merry unbirthday to us !!!"

Care for some model-tea ?
