Hello All,

I have recently purchased an Audi A5 Cabriolet, 59 Reg.

I have been looking around to find a place that can fit a facelift front to my car ( In particular the lights)

I have the DRL old version, and would like the 2012/2013 look - anyone have an idea of where I can look?

Cheers

This would cost many thousands, surely it's not worth it!

Would probably cost more to buy yours and get a facelift front that it would've to simply buy a facelift car.

The pre-facelift A5 looks better anyway!

Headlamps, LED power module, front bumper, Air guide grille, headlamp bracket, headlamp mounting, bonnet, foglights, radiator grille, licence plate holder.

That's going to be easily over £5k once it's painted, and that doesn't include the fitting. Apparently the ECU will need a bit of work too. If you've got a lower spec model it will almost certainly be cheaper to hold on until the next registration and buy a facelift car.

I wouldn't bother - it'll cost loads and just make it look like your car has had an accident and been repaired with the newer bits. Any type of A5 is a lovely-looking thing anyway!

Why make your car look like something it isn't? Just get the facelift and save all the fking about.

The only thing that needs changing on an A5 is the awful line that wiggles down the whole side of the car. Completely ruins an otherwise okay looking car.

I don't know that does look pretty nice upgrade although i'm not sure why you've intenally brought a old face model without first doing research if your intention was to do the upgrade straight away.

Loads of people seem to be trying it on that forum just have a read?

I must admit, I prefer the FL A5, it looks more up to date. Each to their own I guess!

I do agree and I am usually all far upgrading the look to facelift spec however in this instance its probably not worth it all. If you wanted to improve on the look you could try think about fitting the kit from the S-Line or RS5 models

Chill out Officer High Ground. I was merely jesting. Besides, he could be a troll. They are known to lurk between the 0s and 1s of Audi threads.

And still nobody has answered the question.

Does anyone have any insight into where he could get this done? I'm sure the cost implications are well understood by the this point! rolleyes

Apart from this one you mean rolleyes any body shop could do this if you buy the parts.
