Cherished number transfer query.

It`s been a while since i have done this, so before i go to the my local office next week to transfer my plate can anyone confirm this is all in order?
I own both vehicles, both are registered to me and have the V5s
The receiving vehicle is Taxed, Moted, and insured.
The donor vehicle is Moted, but sorn, with NO insurance.
In this day of electronic checks what paper work do i take to the tax office, or, if in doubt take every bit of documentation?
I take it the transfer fee is still £80?
