Thank you, I have a S180 Athlete over here and always forget how good the turning radius thanks to their taxi usage smile

Great stuff! My memory is failing me I know, but I am almost certain we've chatted about it before? How is running a Crown in the UK in terms of parts and reliability, etc? I assume the latter is no issue.

Parts/Servicing is absolute doddle as all Lexus parts so can be done by anyone, bodypanels and interior trim is a nightmare as they have to come from Japan so shipping is mental and the dash cracks so would probably recommend the gen after - S200. The media unit isn't that easy to update but hdd will record from cd's you put in and works great, the rest of the car and ownership more than makes up for these little foibles it's my favourite car I've ever driven/been driven in. biggrin

Interesting. Thanks for taking the time to share! There are a lot on the used market here. Maybe something to keep in mind if a move back to the UK is on the cards...

Would defo recommend going a generation after mine - access to hybrid engines, none of the dash cracks mine gets - but still all Crown and also eligible for the UK SVA with the 10yr rule smile

Amazing pictures as usual. That Saab!!! And that crazy pink Huracan! Idk what it is but if it were done here it would seem in poor taste, but the way they did it over there, just works... Amazing!

Anyone know what body kit the black SL63 had on it?

Thanks again Rupro! I'm over the moon when I see there's been activity on this thread.

Oooooh a Crown cloud9... this may have been covered but what is driving like around the hills? It looks very chilled out compared to some places smile
Sorry, missed this. Not great, as there's no quiet road in HK, but I guess better than stuck in heavy traffic in the city.

That's great! Thanks so much for the kind words. Not sure what the kit is on the SL63 I'm afraid... but, here's some more content for you ...

A wonderfully eclectic mix as always thumbup Stirs up memories of the lusts of youth (Mitsubishi FTO, Nissan Sylvia, Ferrari 348), and also jabs at the desires of now (why do I yearn for an AZ-1? I'm 6' 3" and would not fit, but I don't care! cloud9)

Looks like an SJ410/413 with an aftermarket front end to me.

I think it's a regular JA12 Jimny with sprayed grill assembly.

That's a shame, for all the negativity out there we seem to still have it pretty good in the UK...

Superb pics as always. MK1 Golf a lovely surprise. Is there something sinister about the blue Rav4 ?? Plate seems to hint at it….

Seconded.

AZ1 - agree...they look cooler and cooler with age.
