In contrast to the thread about impressing women with a car, what do you think would do the total opposite?

I'd have to go for some sort of battered old Corsa with a Max Power style bodykit and cherry bomb exhaust

The look on my girlfriend's face when I turned up in the Integra one day...

She thought I still had the BMW E46 Sport. Priceless.

EVO 6.5 TME, with Anti-Lag ECU etc.

She thought it was broken (pop, bangs and flames out of the exhaust).

You'd think a new Alfasud which wouldn't start and had to be pushed would put a girl off, but we've been married for 32 years in October smile

Some girls are not at all impressed with the sorts of cars we think they might like. I have yet to see a girl proud and not looking fully embarrassed in her boyfriends mid 90s jap import Toyota soarer or something like that. I've also never met a girl who thinks an imprezza looks decent, or an Evo. No amount of BHP will get many girls past what a car looks like.

Not true! I remember taking a girl out in my Primera GT LE. She actually liked the car.. plenty of room in the back too

She was a bit common mind.

No offense but if you think a girl would like a 90s Jap car then you've got some learning to do hehe

My Audi A3 S-Line is a win win! The Mrs loves it..

Fails have been, Land Rover Defender 90 with modular steel wheel and ridiculous monster truck tyres, completely plastered in mud.. and Caterham.. girls hate them!

I used to see her about 6 months before that date, at that time I had quite a nice BMW...

then when we met up again I went to pick her up in the Integra, I think the first thing she said was something along the lines of "Why have you got this?"
