Where can I buy a large gauge hypodermic needle from?

Its not for shooting up a speedball before you ask, it is motoring related.

Preferably somewhere thats open on a Saturday.

do you mean a syringe or the needle? The former can be found easily: I use to use them for a few jobs with the car. The latter might be more difficult

Ebay has syringes for automotive use. Not sure about needles.

They refused to sell me one once. Asked what it was for and didn't like the answer.

Assuming you need the syringe and not a needle, go to your local farm supplies shop or veterinary surgery, they do some useful sizes (50cc etc).

Most bike shops.
They have bleed kits for disc brakes.
If not try Chain Reaction Cycles

They used to.

When I travelled around Asia it was recommended to take your own syringes and needles I bought mine at Boots.

Thanks all.

It was a needle I needed, not a syringe as I had some already.

I found one in my company provided travel first aid kit.

I knew it would come in handy one day!
