I like the cx it is so flowing and has some real flare
That sadly has almost disappeared due to modern regulations and expectations,
When I was a nipper the neighbours opposite had a GSA in bright orange, he also only had 1 arm
And had the ball on the wheel to drive it which fascinated me at such a young age,
He then changed it for a cx which was in white
I then got a matchbox blue cx complete with matching trailer, which was one of my favourite toy cars

Just in case you're wondering why the swap - the standard wheels are metric sized, so are an absolute bugger to get tyres for.
ahhh, those crazy french and their obsession with metric sizing. They should have stuck with imperial, it is a far more logical system.Like a few other people in this thread, I don't think they are beautiful cars in the traditional sense, they are just so strange and so..... french.
I think they're classy in a wonderfully understated and non pretentious way.
And also this one opposite my house (which is still there as it happens, perhaps it is here to stay?) looks very cool hunkered down on its hydro suspension; it's big, low and wide.

Needs a better shot:I don't know if I count as younger, but unsurprisingly I'm keen.

That is lovely, I'd junk all the rubbish on the tailgate including the badging and colour code the wheels. My dream CX.deadtom said:

.
BMW also had Trx tyres on their 5 series at the time..
We had a cx2400 back in 1981, which was preceded by a couple GS's.
The CX was the best car my dad had.
I've been on the lookout for a while but I'm not sure mrs simes205 would be so keen.

The guy who ran Maikonics had his extensively modified - 35psi boost and around 450bhp, which would have been a hoot.
This I would like to see; anything on youtube about the car?The Boy Lard said:
There is a lovely white CX GTi Turbo which commutes into Wellington at a similar time to me every day. Makes me think about swapping the scooby...
I've seen that car a few times on my commmute into Welly as well mate! It's pretty sweet eh. P.S if you see someone on a black and blue Hayabusa with an RJays bag on a pack rack, that's me.
