Got a loose speaker wire in the bendy tube that contains wires linking the dashboard to the electronics in the door. How can I access it?

Ta!

I suppose I could just cut into it and tape it up again?

That's what I thought. I tried twisting something but it didn't budge. *goes to grab pliers*

Didn't work. Nothing to really grip on to untwist.

In most cars if you take the door card off then you should be able to see whats holding it on. But every car is different, also don't cut the rubber boot and tape it back up it will never be water tight and in the long run will have problems with water corroding the electrics.

Oh, ok, thanks for the warning!

I've removed the door cover but it didn't reveal much apart from enable me to replace a speaker.

Looking at what little we can see in that video, it looks like it'll just be held in place by molded ends. Reach inside the door, and squeeze the tube which protrudes, while pushing it out.

My MR2 was a similar setup.
