As the title really. A totally bizarre 'spot' on the A272 this morning. Eastbound toward Heathfield (I think that's where he turned off).

Captain Jack Sparrow. In a red Mazda MX-5 Mk1.

Not just a Johnny Depp looky-likey, but a fella in full costume/make-up, joined the A272 behind me, I clocked him in the mirrors, and thought "he looks a bit 'Capt Jack' with the bandanna/hair thing going on". Then we hit a junction, so he closed up behind me while we waited to turn right, and then I could see the costume and the 'extra eyes' painted on his face. Presumably he was on his way to some Bank Holiday fête or some such.

Just bizarre.

Anyone else seen something completely silly whilst out, today or recently?

Only last year Me & my mate were going to a fancy dress party dressed as Batman & Robin, we drove their in his MX5, roof down, batman theme tune blearing, capes blowing in the wind & bat decals adorning the car!!

Looked a right pair of bellends....especially as I was a 6'6" robin & he was a 5' Batman....same as the Fools and Horses sketch...

....did we get noticed??? Damn right we did...LOL!

Could have been Adam Ant biggrin

He does actually wear hats and bandanas to hide hair loss.

I once passengered from Hemel Hempstead to Scarborough wearing a V For Vendetta style Guy Fawkes mask. That raised a few eyebrows.

A load of us had a weekend at Castle Combe last year, we had to drive in our costumes and here we are.
